The additional textured length of the magazine plate lets another finger grip against the firearm for added purchase and control; helping to reduce muzzle flip and increasing overall performance during firing. The tactical ridges on the face of the plate will help guide your fingers for a secure grip, which is especially useful on compact, sub-compact, and micro framed firearms or for those with larger hands.
